The 1st Madrid Workshop on Transport Economics will take place on October 10th, 2008.

The topic of the workshop for this first edition is "Models of Airport Ownership and Management", and its objective is to contribute from the academic research to the current debate about the re-organization of the Spanish airport model.

David Gillen (YVR Professor of Transportation Policy. Sauder School of Business/Center for Transportation Studies, University of British Columbia, Canada) will give the opening Keynote Lecture.
